* Academic rates are applicable only to diploma and degree granting institutions and bookstores serving them when the name and address of the instructor are given with the order. Corporate rates apply on non-degree granting Executive Education programs.

Permission to Make Reproductions Yourself

Simply provide the product number/s of the item/s you intend to reproduce and the permission quantity of each item. You will be prompted for additional customer and course information as you continue through the order process. Authorization to proceed with the reproductions is granted immediately upon completion of your order.

If you require a master copy from which to reproduce, check off Digital Download and follow the prompts to complete your request. Further instructions to access the PDF file will be provided upon completion of your order.

Permission Form: This is a fillable PDF form.  Complete the form and email to cases@ivey.ca, or print it and fax to (519) 661-3882 for authorization. Authorization to proceed with the reproductions will follow within one business day.

If you require a master copy from which to reproduce, check off the option to order a PDF file. Further instructions to access the PDF file will be provided with your order confirmation.

Print Orders

Printed copies of cases are shipped via courier within 2-3 business days along with an invoice.  You may order printed copies as follows:

  • Express Order
  • Email: cases@ivey.ca with your billing/shipping address, product title, product number and the quantity of the item/s you wish to order
  • Fax (519) 661-3882 with your billing/shipping address, product title, product number and the quantity of the item/s you wish to order

Teaching notes are restricted to qualified academics and are not included with your order unless specifically requested. If you require the teaching notes for a corporate setting, please fax a letter on company letterhead from your Human Resources Department verifying the purpose of the teaching note, seminar date, and the expected number of participants to (519) 661-3882.

Posting to a Password-Protected Website

To post Ivey case studies on your own password-protected website, please complete the electronic permission form.  This is a fillable PDF form.  Complete the form and email, or print it and fax to 519-661-3882 for authorization. Authorization and information regarding the PDF file/s will follow within one business day.

Permission to Use an Ivey Case in a Textbook

For permission to include an Ivey case or an Ivey Business Journal reprint in a textbook, please complete the request form and return it to us by email to bookpermissions@ivey.ca.  Permission will be granted once an agreement has been signed by a representative of both the textbook author and publisher.  Permission is for one-time use only, and must be requested each time the case is used in a subsequent edition.

Permission to Translate

If you wish to translate an Ivey case or Ivey Business Journal reprint, please complete the translation permission form and fax to the attention of the Publishing Coordinator at (519) 661-3882. If you have any questions please email cases@ivey.ca. Cases and reprints may not be translated without the specific approval of Ivey Publishing.

Please see our translation permission policy for additional information. Our current agreements with other case suppliers do not permit the authorization to translate their material.
